WebCSD v1.1.1 Patch Released
|
The WebCSD v1.1.1 patch has been released on the public servers to
resolve a couple of issues relating to the digital signing of the WebCSD Java
applets when using the latest version of the Java Runtime Environment on both
Windows and Mac platforms.

WebCSD v1.1 Released

The WebCSD v1.1 upgrade has been released on the public servers, including the
brand new CSD X-Press service. This is the first version of WebCSD to feature in-house
database support, and will be made available for on-site use in the near future.

|
The WebCSD v1.0.6 patch has been released. This version includes
numerous minor bug fixes and improvements.

500,000th Crystal Structure Milestone Reached
|
The December 2nd 2009 WebCSD data update took the total number of entries
in the Cambridge Structural Database above 500,000. The CSD's 500,000th structure
is the anti-convulsant drug Lamotrigine, published in Acta Crystallographica, C65,
o460-o464, 2009, by Balasubramanian Sridhar and Krishnan Ravikumar of the Indian
Institute of Chemical Technology in Hyderabad. The CSD reference code for the structure

WebCSD v1.0.5 Released
|
The WebCSD v1.0.5 patch has been released. This is the first version
of WebCSD supported for on-site installation, and will be made available on DVD to
eligible sites as part of the main CSDS November 2009 release.

WebCSD Workshop
|
Fast web-based access to half a million crystal structures - knowledge
at your fingertips. CCDC will be attending the 5th German Conference on
Cheminformatics, November 8 - 10, 2009, Goslar, Germany. A WebCSD workshop will
be held for conference attendees on Sunday 8th November at 15:00 in room Mönchehaus.

WebCSD v1.0.4 Released
|
The WebCSD v1.0.4 patch has been released. This version includes
various improvements to the automatic data update mechanism as well as minor
bug fixes and improvements.

WebCSD v1.0.3 Released
|
The WebCSD v1.0.3 patch has been released. This version includes a
new automatic socket connection fallback mechanism for those sites with firewall
configurations that prevent the use of the public WebCSD servers on port 80.

The WebCSD v1.0.2 patch has been released. This provides automatic
data update processing in addition to other minor fixes and improvements. The WebCSD
database has been updated to include 6 new incremental data updates.

The WebCSD v1.0.1 patch has been released. This provides five new
searchable text fields and resolves some Java interface display issues on Mac OS X,
in addition to other minor fixes and improvements.
